Literacy Groups at Wee Speech
The staff at Wee Speech has formed a literacy group! This group is designed
for children who will be or are attending kindergarten. The group meets
weekly for 45 minutes per session. The curriculum of the group will focus
on introducing and reinforcing the following literacy skills:
-identifying
letter-sound correspondence
-identifying rhyming words
-identifying the beginning sounds of words
-identifying common sight words
-identifying letters
-writing upper-case letters
